About
Spytheland is a Spanish progressive rock band led by composer and keyboardist Alejandro Román. The project blends symphonic rock, cinematic soundscapes and powerful storytelling inspired by classic progressive rock traditions.
The band's debut concept album, Warmi Warrior, tells the story of a young Peruvian woman traveling from the Andes to Spain in a journey of transformation and survival. Through epic compositions, emotional vocals and rich orchestration, Spytheland explores themes of migration, identity and resilience.
With musicians from Madrid's rock and progressive scene, Spytheland combines progressive intensity, symphonic textures and modern production to create immersive musical landscapes.

Spytheland, the Spanish progressive rock project led by composer and keyboardist Alejandro Román —ex-Galadriel—, proudly announces the arrival of Carlos Valledor as its new lead vocalist.
With guitarist Miky Zamalloa —Oxígeno / Pink Floyd Experience—, Toni Sotos on bass, Juan Bañales on drums, and Magali Revollar bringing the Peruvian vocal essence of the story, Spytheland now completes a powerful line-up for Warmi Warrior, the 75-minute concept album that follows the odyssey of a Peruvian warrior woman from the Ayacucho Andes to Spain.
After an intense search for the right voice to embody Warmi’s journey on stage and in the studio, Carlos Valledor joins the band to bring new strength, emotion and dramatic presence to the project.
With the album fully written and the band already in motion, Spytheland enters a decisive new phase.
