Toni Sotos (Madrid, 1977) is a seasoned bassist who began his musical journey self-taught, playing in multiple bands from a very young age. Over the years he has been part of numerous local projects, including Heart Beat, Los Lebowski, Anaheim, Morgan, Inanout and Bravomonte, building a solid reputation on the Spanish scene.​​

He has studied and attended masterclasses with renowned musicians such as Pablo Martín Caminero, Richi Ferrer, Carlos Carli, Antonio Serrano and Jayme Marques, and has shared the stage with artists like Andy Timmons, Freak Kitchen and Gloria Estefan. He has also worked as a substitute musician for acts such as La Quinta Estación and Raphael, adapting with ease to very different styles and productions.​

Toni has recorded on more than a hundred albums in some of the most prestigious studios in the country, as well as sessions for radio and television in Spain and London. After graduating in Jazz from the Conservatorio Superior de Música Pablo Sarasate, he launched his own project, releasing two albums: “Drops” and “My Little Frank”.​

He currently combines his activity as a performer with his work as an educator in schools and academies across the Community of Madrid, teaching music and various instruments to secondary students and young musicians, and bringing that same musical depth and versatility to Spytheland’s low end.
